Part 2 – Visit at the construction site

What’s up with Sporda’s new premises in Värnamo? Is it on schedule? To find out, we had a chat with Sporda Nonwovens’ CEO.

Jonas Rylander, CEO of Sporda Nonwoven, how is the new construction?
“Thanks for asking, it’s good. The machine hall is sealed, that is, the walls and roof are in place. Installation of ventilation, electricity and pneumatics is currently underway.”

Was it the machine hall that was supposed to be ready first?
“Yes exactly, focus was on getting the machine hall ready first as the premises will house the airlay line which was expected to arrive in October. Now, unfortunately, there have been delivery delays and as it looks right now, the machine will arrive sometime between mid-November and early December.”
